4/10/19 :'Today I will be talking about my thoughts on chapter one of " Roll of Thunder, hear my cry." Firstly, I think that the school should have taken out the list of children before they gave the book to Little man because be little children get mad very quickly, and telling a child that they are very poor is unexceptionable. The black children already had a hard time in that time period that the school should have taken all the graphs out of the the books . Knowing the children they would tell there parents, and it would cause a up roar. I also wonder what happened to the man's nephews that were in the house fire. They only talked about the man and not his nephews. Were the nephews part of it? Or were they not found after the incident.
4/12/19: Today I will be talking about my thoughts from chapter 2 of "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry." I think that it was a nice decision for Cassie's dad to give Mr.Morrison a second chance because he saw what was good in Mr. Morrison, and gave him a job. I think that Cassie and her brothers will go to the store and be hurt by some of the drunk men because children like to rebel against what their parents say. And Cassie and her brothers will think that they can handle it and be brave. To add, I think that the adults should have talked about the store away from the children because the kids wouldn't wonder about what happened.
4/24/19: Today I will be talking about my thoughts from " Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry." I think Cassie shouldn't have kept the secret of the school bus running into the ditch because it made her sick inside keeping it from her mom and Big Ma. Also she shouldn't have kept it from them because Cassie is used to telling her mom everything that happened in her life/ day. Cassie keeping the secret was a recipe for disaster.
5/8/19: I think Stacy shouldn't have given the jacket to T.J because it meant a lot to Stacy cause it would be the nicest coat/ clothing that Stacy would ever own. Also Stacy shouldn't care what people think of him, as said by uncle Hammer "You care what lot of useless people say 'bout you'll never get anywhere." I think that Stacy should truly think about what uncle Hammer said, and put it into play in his life.
