Character vs. Character- An example of this is Cassie/ Uncle Hammer vs the Simms. Cassie was bullied for being black by the Simms which makes them both upset and out for revenge.
Character vs. Self- An example of this is how Cassie and the Logan's see themselves as lower class and not as important as Simms/ whites.
Character vs. Nature- An example of this is the fires/burnings that burn houses and people.
Character vs. Society- An example of this is how they are dealing with racism and segregation in the town.
